Your Reliable Partner for Property Snagging

What is snagging?

Snagging refers to the process of identifying and rectifying defects or issues in a construction project, typically after the main construction work has been completed but before the final handover to the occupant. Unfortunately, even the best new build homes and trusted builders leave issues within your property. It is a crucial step in the construction process to ensure that the finished property meets the required standards and specifications.

During snagging, an in-depth room by room inspection is conducted by a snagging specialist. They carefully examine the property, looking for any defects, imperfections, or unfinished work that may need to be addressed before the build can be considered complete and potentially saving you costly work in the future. This also allows you to concentrate on moving into your new home without the added stress of carrying out your own inspection and wondering if you missed anything.

When should you call in

The Snag Man?

Try to contact us as early as possible

Preferably as soon as you know your confirmation date. We can log your details into our system and through regular contact, we can guide you and help you with any queries you may have. Once you have confirmed a completion date we can agree on a suitable date to inspect your home.

It is best to perform a snagging inspection before you inhabit the property after completion. This is to identify and rectify issues promptly and to prevent ongoing issues from exacerbating. Please keep in mind that new homeowners have up to two years of warranty with their developer.
